Medical Negligence
Medical Negligence deals with any negligent
medical treatment given at a hospital, by a GP, by a dentist,
or by the emergency services such as Paramedics and Ambulance
Personnel. It also covers negligent treatment given by Nurses,
Physiotherapists, Health Visitors and any other member of
a profession allied to medicine. It also includes treatment
given in Nursing Homes and Private Clinics.
Working in our Medical Negligence Department,
we have Specialist Medical Negligence Solicitors who are members
of the prestigious Law Society’s Clinical Negligence
Panel as well as the AVMA (Action for Victims of Medical Accidents)
Referral Panel.
Our Specialist Medical Negligence Solicitors
have the expertise and experience to deal with your case efficiently
as well as listening to your concerns sympathetically. We
understand that this is a very sensitive area of the law involving
the breakdown of a relationship of trust between the doctor
and patient.
Our Specialist Medical Negligence Solicitors
understand that you may not always wish to bring legal proceedings
and are often just seeking an apology or an explanation as
to what has happened to you. We will do our utmost to ensure
that your case is investigated as fully as possible.
Our expertise has been recognised by the Legal
Services Commission who has granted us a Legal Aid Franchise
in Clinical Negligence. This means that we are one of the
few firms of Solicitors that are able to offer Legal Aid for
Medical Negligence cases, subject to your eligibility.
We understand that being the victim of Medical
Negligence can often be a very difficult and confusing time.
We aim to offer every client our assistance, our guidance,
and a sympathetic ear.
We are able to offer you a free initial consultation
so that we can discuss your concerns and problems without
any obligation.
